Maria Bartiromo<\/strong><\/a> is breaking her silence following news that she and Fox News<\/strong><\/a> have parted ways.<\/p>\n

If you didn\u2019t see, the network announced on September 3 that they were cutting ties<\/a> with the 58-year-old news anchor after she spent 12 years with them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thank Maria <\/strong>for her work over the last 12 \u00bd years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,\u201d Fox News said in a statement (via THR<\/em><\/a>). No reason for the exit was given at this time, and it\u2019s unclear if she was fired or left on her own.<\/p>\n

On Thursday (September 10), one day before her 59th birthday, Maria<\/strong> took to X<\/a> to thank fans and loved ones for all of their support over the last week.<\/p>\n

Following news of her departure from Fox News, Maria<\/strong>\u2018s lawyer released a statement slamming reports that she had been fired<\/a> or no longer an employee at the network.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe irresponsible reports that have been published stating that Maria Bartiromo<\/strong> was fired or is no longer an employee of Fox are absolutely and unequivocally false,\u201d her lawyer stated. \u201cMake no mistake, we have the receipts and witnesses and they will come out whether through the courthouse or otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you didn\u2019t see, President Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> just reacted to the reports<\/a> that Maria Bartiromo<\/strong> has exited Fox News.<\/p>\n
