The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a> has already been renewed for season 6 \u2014 but who is returning after offscreen cast exits?<\/p>\n

Viewers were originally introduced to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> cast after the show premiered on Hulu in 2024. Among the stars front and center were Jen Affleck<\/strong> and husband Zac Affleck, Demi Engemann<\/strong> and husband Bret Engemann, Whitney Leavitt<\/strong> and husband Conner Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews<\/strong> and husband Jace Terry, Mayci Neeley<\/strong> and husband Jacob Neeley, Jessi<\/strong> Draper<\/strong> and Jordan Ngatikaura, Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong> and then-partner Dakota Mortensen<\/strong> and Layla Taylor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Miranda McWhorter<\/strong>, meanwhile, joined the show in season 2<\/a> after her split from Chase McWhorter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Amid production on season 5, filming was halted after an alleged domestic violence incident between Taylor and Dakota in February 2026. Dakota and Taylor subsequently filed temporary restraining orders against each other.<\/p>\n

The Bachelorette canceled Taylor\u2019s season of the ABC reality dating series in March 2026 \u2014 days before its premiere \u2014 following leaked footage from 2023 showing Taylor attacking Dakota during a dispute.<\/p>\n

A Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said at the time, \u201cIn light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor confirmed the assault charges she faced \u201cwere all dropped\u201d during a September 2025 interview on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast, describing the incident as \u201cthe hardest time\u201d in her life.<\/p>\n

In April 2026, authorities confirmed that Taylor would not be charged with any crime for the February incident with Dakota. That same month, Us confirmed that SLOMW was set to resume production on season 5.<\/p>\n

It isn\u2019t clear how she would be involved in season 6. Dakota, meanwhile, \u201cwill not be involved\u201d in the show moving forward.<\/p>\n
