Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco tied the knot in 2025<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old star married Benny Blanco in Santa Barbara, California in September 2025, and the record producer has revealed that Selena got to fulfil a childhood dream on her wedding day.<\/p>\n
Speaking on his Friends Keep Secrets podcast, Benny shared: “We rented a palm tree farm and converted it into a \u2014 we just wanted to do something unconventional and Selena … she had a dream for a wedding since she was a kid.<\/p>\n
“She\u2019s like, \u2018I want to walk down the aisle and I want the aisle to be, like, Persian rugs off centered. I don\u2019t want normal flowers. I don\u2019t want it to feel bougie.\u2019<\/p>\n

“So it was, like, incredible and you could tell we put so much effort into it, but also didn\u2019t feel, like, stuffy.”<\/p>\n
\nAn insider previously revealed that the “vibe was so much fun” on Benny and Selena’s wedding day.<\/p>\n
\nThe source told People: “There was so much love in the room.<\/p>\n
\n“The ceremony moved guests to tears. They wrote their own vows, which were both funny and sentimental.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Selena previously confessed that she never imagined herself dating Benny.<\/p>\n
\nBut the singer – who has also dated the likes of Justin Bieber and The Weeknd – admitted that her attitude changed the more they worked together.<\/p>\n
\nDuring an appearance on the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, Selena shared: “I was so not … you know when you realise you\u2019re not in that place anymore you need to be where you are? It\u2019s all about timing to meet that person even if I did think, ‘Oh I need to take this a step forward then it wouldn\u2019t have worked’. Simply you just have to be there mentally in order to move forward with something healthy.<\/p>\n
\n“Then we reunited for Single Soon \u2026 it wasn\u2019t our favourite \u2026 just because I can say this cause I\u2019m marrying him. Just really wasn\u2019t what I thought I wanted so he came in and he agrees on a lot of levels but he just came in and I was like oh \u2018Hi Benny\u2019 and we spoke for two hours and I asked him to hook me up with anybody that he knew that was cute and he was like, \u2018Oh we do these things, these dinner nights. You should come\u2019 … and next thing you know we\u2019re dating.”<\/p>\n
