\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Adria Arjona<\/strong><\/a> was the female lead of the Marvel movie Morbius<\/strong><\/a><\/em> and it\u2019s pretty clear that she is not a fan of the film, or at least of her performance in the project. <\/p>\n The 34-year-old actress played Dr. Martine Bancroft in the movie opposite Jared Leto<\/strong><\/a> as the title character. The movie also starred Matt Smith<\/strong><\/a>, Jared Harris<\/strong><\/a>, Al Madrigal<\/strong><\/a>, and Tyrese Gibson<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n In a new interview for Josh Horowitz<\/strong>\u2018s Happy Sad Confused<\/em> podcast, Adria<\/strong> threw some shade at the movie.<\/p>\n <\/center><\/p>\n Adria<\/strong> was asked if there was a \u201csilver lining\u201d to being in Morbius <\/em>and she put her hand over the microphone, joking that there was not one. <\/p>\n \u201cLook, you live and you learn. It was a great experience. I got to meet Matt [Smith]. I think it\u2019s funny. I think if you look at it with eyes comedy, I think there are sparks in there. I\u2019m\u2026 I\u2019m not so sure,\u201d Adria<\/strong> said. <\/p>\n After finding out that Keanu Reeves<\/strong><\/a> has seen the movie, Adria<\/strong> seemed disappointed. She said, \u201cDon\u2019t break my heart. I think Keanu Reeves is amazing. I\u2019ve never met him. He seems so lovely. And I really want him to think I\u2019m, like, good. I don\u2019t think he thinks I\u2019m good. I\u2019m going to get his email and be like, \u2018Watch this instead!’\u201d<\/p>\n Adria <\/strong>previously praised her character Martine for being the \u201csmart one in the room.\u201d<\/p>\n She told CBR<\/a>, \u201cWhen Martine speaks, people listen. It\u2019s nice to see that in a female character. It\u2019s not just about being pretty or strength or toughness. It\u2019s that she\u2019s the smart one in the room\u2026 At the same time, she\u2019s very curious and has a big heart \u2013 her motivation is always to help others, and she\u2019s the same way with Morbius. She\u2019s constantly taking care of him in a different way than he takes care of her. She learns so much from him, but Morbius\u2019s rock is Martine.\u201d<\/p>\n Adria<\/strong> used Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez<\/strong><\/a> as inspiration for the role. <\/p>\n \u201cWhen I started playing this role, I thought, \u2018I\u2019m playing with such amazing actors, but I\u2019m not like Martine \u2013 I\u2019m goofy and clumsy and Martine is very grounded and secure in herself,\u201d she added. \u201cI remember seeing an interview with AOC <\/strong>and thinking, everything about her is Martine. She\u2019s youthful, she\u2019s fun, she cares about the way she looks, but she cares even more about what goes into her brain. She\u2019s passionate; when she speaks, you can tell she\u2019s done her research; she\u2019s going to be listened to, no matter who is in front of her.
