Sharon Stone has reflected on her near death experience<\/p>\n
The 68-year-old star has reflected on her recovery after suffering a near death health scare back in 2001, which left her dealing with unusual dreams as she slept during the day.<\/p>\n
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, she told the upcoming debut episode of Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown: \u201cWhen I was first home from the hospital, I couldn\u2019t sleep at night and I was sleeping in the day.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I was laying on the couch, sleeping and awake, these orbs sort of presented themselves to me.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“These five orbs presented themselves to me and they sort of talked to me, but in a digital language.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSharon never told anyone about the unexplainable experience, but she claimed the orbs gave her a hint of what was to come.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I just kept saying to them, \u2018I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m supposed to stay here or if I\u2019m supposed to die’.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd they said, \u2018You\u2019re supposed to stay.\u2019 And I said, \u2018I can only stay if two of you will stay with my son. Because I don\u2019t want him to be alone, and I think he\u2019s gonna get taken from me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAt the time of her stroke, the Basic Instinct actress and her then-husband Phil Bronstein’s adopted son Roan was just one year old.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple got divorced in 2004, and Sharon lost custody, but felt the orbs would keep their side of the deal.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cSure enough, he was taken from me. And I said, \u2018We have to have an agreement. The two of you will stay with him and protect him.\u2019 <\/p>\n
\n“And they agreed. And they said, \u2018But your destiny requires that we stay with you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSharon, who later adopted sons Laird, 21, and Quinn, 20, has had a close relationship with Roan over the years.<\/p>\n
\nThe Hollywood actress previously admitted that the whole incident had “one hundred percent” changed her outlook on life.<\/p>\n
\nAsked if the stroke had changed the way she thought, she told The Hollywood Reporter: “Totally. One hundred percent. A Buddhist monk told me that I had been reincarnated into my same body. I had a death experience and then they brought me back.<\/p>\n
\n“I bled into my brain for nine days, so my brain was shoved to the front of my face. It wasn\u2019t positioned in my head where it was before. And while that was happening, everything changed.<\/p>\n
\n“My sense of smell, my sight, my touch. I couldn\u2019t read for a couple of years. Things were stretched and I was seeing colour patterns. A lot of people thought I was going to die.<\/p>\n
\n“People took advantage of me over that time. I had $18 million saved because of all my success, but when I got back into my bank account, it was all gone. My refrigerator, my phone \u2014 everything was in other people\u2019s names.<\/p>\n
\n“I had zero money.”<\/p>\n
