\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n The winner of Miss America 2027<\/em><\/strong> has been crowned!<\/p>\n The pageant took place on Sunday night (September 6) and was streamed live on YouTube. The event was hosted in West Palm Beach, Florida and featured delegates from all 50 states, in addition to the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. <\/p>\n Miss Texas, Regan Hutsell<\/strong><\/a>, was crowned the winner with Miss Louisiana, Shelby Bordelon<\/strong>, named first runner-up.<\/p>\n Regan<\/strong>, 25, is a professional dancer who has performed as a Radio City Rockette and in international ballet groups. <\/p>\n While competing in the pageant, Regan<\/strong> made the decision to wear her natural hair. <\/p>\n \u201cWhen I first started [competing], I didn\u2019t know what I was going to do with my hair,\u201d she told People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI didn\u2019t know if I was going to straighten it, I didn\u2019t know if I was going to wear it natural. I had straightened my hair a few years ago, and it didn\u2019t bounce back.
