Below Deck<\/a> Mediterranean<\/em>\u2019s Gael Cameron<\/strong> is discussing how she\u2019s coping after ex-boyfriend Nathan Gallagher<\/strong>\u2019s 2025 domestic violence arrest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been sitting here trying to find the perfect quote to encapsulate this photo, but I realized there isn\u2019t one. Just the water and him. Two things that can get me through absolutely anything in this life,\u201d Cameron, 30, captioned a Sunday, September 6, Instagram<\/a> carousel that showed her in the surf with son Kayden, 14 months, whom she shares with Gallagher, 28. \u201cIn this moment I feel happy again \ud83e\ude75.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cameron, who Us<\/em> confirmed filed an Apprehended Violence Application against Gallagher in Australia in December 2025, also noted that the photos were snapped after her fellow Bravo star\u2019s arrest<\/a>. \u201c@seathroughthelensphotography you are a legend and [a] half for capturing these in the middle of winter for bub\u2019s first birthday,\u201d the reality star continued. (An AVO is an Australian legal order that protects a person from someone who makes them fear violence, intimidation, harassment or stalking, per the New South Wales\u2019 Government\u2019s website.)<\/p>\n

The snaps arrived one day after Cameron, who began dating Gallagher in 2024 after meeting on the series\u2019 season 9 charter, broke her silence<\/a> over her ex\u2019s arrest. Us<\/em> confirmed last month that Gallagher was arrested and charged with \u201cassault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally chok[ing] a person without consent and common assault,\u201d according to a police memo.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey guys, I just want to say thank you so much for the support you\u2019ve shown for Kayden and I,\u201d Cameron wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, September 5. \u201cIt\u2019s been a tough season, but I have been using the past few months to quietly heal and rebuild for little man and myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple, who met on season 9, got off to a rocky start as Gael navigated a breakup from an offscreen boyfriend. Nathan, meanwhile, was clear about his immediate attraction to Gael, which blossomed as they [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The police report obtained by Us<\/em> further stated that neither party sustained injuries. Gallagher was eventually granted conditional bail. It is not clear how he pleaded. (Gallagher was convicted of three domestic violence offenses on Tuesday, September 1, after failing to appear in a Sydney, Australia, courtroom, per records viewed by News 24.)<\/p>\n

Gallagher broke his silence<\/a> surrounding his arrest in an August 26 statement to Rolling Stone<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m not claiming I was perfect. I wasn\u2019t. I made mistakes and I will take responsibility for my own actions,\u201d the statement read before adding that he would \u201cnot accept being portrayed solely through one person\u2019s account of a relationship when there is another side and evidence relating to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added at the time, \u201cI have contemporaneous video footage from the night in question, as well as messages and other records, which I believe provide important context.\u201d<\/p>\n
