Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong><\/a> is officially an Emmy Award winner! <\/p>\n

The 27-year-old entertainer picked up her first win on Saturday night (September 5) at night one of the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards<\/em> for The Muppet Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

While Sabrina<\/strong> acted in the Disney+ variety special, she actually won the award as an executive producer! <\/p>\n

The Muppet Show<\/em> won Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), with the award going to the producers.<\/p>\n

The half-hour special, which debuted earlier this year on Disney+, also picked up the awards for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special, Outstanding Picture Editing for a Variety Special, and Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special. <\/p>\n

Matt Vogel<\/strong> was nominated for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for voicing Kermit the Frog, but lost out to Julie Andrews<\/strong><\/a> for Lady Whistledown in Bridgerton<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The morning after The Muppet Show<\/em> won the Emmys, Sabrina<\/strong> took to her Instagram<\/a> story to celebrate. <\/p>\n

“Thank you @televisionacad So incredibly proud of the whole muppets crew on our Emmy wins!!!!! A lot of love and happiness and hard work and diva fights went into making this special,” she wrote.<\/p>\n

Sabrina<\/strong>‘s Emmy win for the special as a producer now puts her one step closer to achieving EGOT status. She now holds the EG for Emmy and Grammy, the latter of which she has two!<\/p>\n
