Kanye West<\/a> were both in attendance at daughter North West\u2019s Chicago concert on Saturday night (05.09.26) – but watched from different balconies. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West support daughter North at first headlining gig – but not together<\/p>\n
The 13-year-old performed her very first headline show at The Vic Theatre, with videos quickly appearing on social media showing the teenager in action. <\/p>\n
There were also clips of Kim and Kanye proudly watching North do her thing, although the exes – who split in 2021 after six years of marriage – didn\u2019t go as far as to stand together. <\/p>\n
Instead, they were seen on balconies on either side of the venue. <\/p>\n

Kim also shared footage from the gig on her Instagram Stories, clearly proud of her first-born as North donned a Japanese-inspired outfit and performed choreographed routines while belting out songs. <\/p>\n
\nNorth\u2019s gig comes after she axed the co-headline series she had planned alongside collaborator Molly Santana, which had been due to kick off on August 5.<\/p>\n
\nNeither North nor Molly offered an explanation as to why the gigs were cancelled, with North instead writing on her Instagram Stories at the time: \u201cI was really excited to go on tour w molly santana sadly it isn’t happening anymore but i have something special for u guys see ya soon (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nNorth’s debut EP N0rth4vr dropped on May 1, and her new music video Aishite, which translates as \u201clove me\u201d in Japanese, was released on August 7.<\/p>\n
\nIn the first verse of the tune, North sings: \u201cAyy, ain’t nobody finna save me \/ Ayy, and it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy) \/ Why can’t I escape? ‘Cause they chase me (They chase me) \/ Just love me, everyone betrays me.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nShe then continues: \u201cI’m seein’ blood daily (Daily)\/ What? And it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy)\/ Yeah, can’t escape ’cause they chase me.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n
\nNorth opens up about betrayal in the next verse, as she sings: \u201cShe pretend, they ain’t usin’ me again (What?) \/ Can’t be no one’s friend, I can’t let nobody in\u201d before adding, \u201cCan’t depend on anyone, the sufferin’ won’t end.\u201d<\/p>\n
