While Noel acknowledged his brother could be difficult to work with during rehearsals, he is in awe of his stage presence.<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cThere\u2019s two Liams, the one that turns up at rehearsals and there\u2019s the guy on stage who bounces a tambourine on his head. And makes it look cool. You know if I did that I\u2019d look like an utter ****. But somehow he does it and it\u2019s the greatest thing I\u2019ve ever seen. I\u2019d forgotten what he means to people. The songs are one thing but it\u2019s what he means to them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLiam added in their first joint interview in two decades: \u201cThe music brought us back together. Oasis man. Oasis saves.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite the years of animosity between them, Liam and Noel now view one another as “equals”.<\/p>\n
\nNoel said: \u201cAll the little things that used to annoy us about each other have suddenly all gone away, it\u2019s not a power struggle anymore, we\u2019ve come out now as equals.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLiam added: \u201cIt feels like a weight has been lifted. We all said st that didn\u2019t matter. I didn\u2019t realise it was coming out of my mouth, half the s*. That\u2019s the way it is.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nElsewhere in the film, the brothers spoke of their devastation following the shock news their friend Gary ‘Mani’ Mountfield from the Stone Roses had died last November at the age of 63.<\/p>\n
\nNoel said: \u201cI couldn\u2019t believe it, it was a shock I have to say – a real shock. Mani was genuinely happy for everyone\u2019s success. He f****** loved Oasis, on the eve of the tour he said \u2018You\u2019re going to f****** smash it.\u2019 He was a great mate and a funny f*****. We\u2019re going to miss him.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLiam added: \u201cIt was sad man. I still can\u2019t get my head around it, like what the f***. Very sad man, very sad. Makes you realise life is precious. The penny dropped, no more bulls**** anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
