This woman is so brave, so awesome. As we all know for the rest of her life. And sat there through seven weeks of a trial where nobody had anything bad to say about her except for the two prosecutors and apparently Tim Cruz.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On X (formerly Twitter) and elsewhere, many users has a different take on the situation, including far-right commentator Elijah Schaffer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe justice system IS BEING ABUSED because WEAK MEN are too afraid to hold women &amp; minorities accountable for their bad behavior,\u201d Schaffer wrote, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWE MEN HAVE TO BECOME EVEN SMARTER THE FASTER SOCIETY DECAYS.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;This case is not about the health care system or about how women are treated in it\u2026 This case, however, was about Lindsay Clancy and what she did on January 24th, 2023 and the cruel and calculated killing of three innocents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Plymouth County DA Timothy Cruz defends bringing\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aSxms2yebB\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/aSxms2yebB<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Fox News (@FoxNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FoxNews\/status\/2095958259685306702?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">September 4, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz was similarly fiery (though much less bigoted) in his remarks, describing Clancy as \u201ccruel and calculated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis case is not about the health care system or about how women are treated in it,\u201d Cruz said outside the courthouse, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis case, however, was about Lindsay Clancy and what she did on January 24th, 2023, and the cruel and calculated killing of three innocents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, this case has inspired some very strong rhetoric on both sides.<\/p>\n<p>Under Massachusetts law, a judge can only order a jury to continue deliberating twice.
