Ad\u00e9la<\/strong><\/a> has dropped her brand new song “Nicole Kidman” off her debut album PRIMA<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The song has received a lot of buzz after Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a> herself commented on the track<\/a> and said she’s going to attend Ad\u00e9la<\/strong>‘s upcoming Nashville concert. <\/p>\n

Ad\u00e9la<\/strong> previously explained the meaning and inspiration for the song. She told W Magazine<\/a><\/em>, \u201cSomehow, I got invited to a Golden Globes event. I\u2019ve never been in a movie, but I got all glammed up, put into a dress, had my hair done, and I looked really good. My hair was super bouncy, and my corset was so tight that I thought, \u2018I feel like Nicole Kidman right now\u2019. I actually watched Eyes Wide Shut<\/em>, and became obsessed with her. To me, she is \u2018the\u2019 movie star.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the lyrics of the song, Ad\u00e9la<\/strong> references Nicole<\/strong>‘s movies Moulin Rouge<\/em> and Babygirl<\/em> and she also pays homage to the films in the music video. She also references the AMC Theatres ad!<\/p>\n

“Every single night \/ I pray that my tits are sittin’ right \/ Moulin Rouge, my corset is so tight \/ Babygirl in control, I feel like Nicole,” she sings in the chorus. <\/p>\n

The North American leg of Adela<\/strong>‘s tour begins on September 9 and she’ll be traveling around the continent for the next month!<\/p>\n
