Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong><\/a> reveals some major spoilers from her cancelled season of The Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> during upcoming Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a> episodes.<\/p>\n

The Thursday, September 3, episode of Hulu\u2019s \u201cGet Real\u201d podcast<\/a> features an exclusive clip from SLOMW<\/em> season 5 \u2014 where Taylor, 32, breaks down all of the Bachelor Nation drama.<\/p>\n

In her discussion with costars Jessi Draper<\/strong>, Mikayla Matthews<\/strong> and Mayci Neeley<\/strong>, Taylor seemingly nods \u201cno\u201d when Jessi asks whether she\u2019d \u201chad sex\u201d during Fantasy Suites. Taylor confirms that a suitor \u2014 presumably Doug Mason<\/strong> \u2014 did \u201cget down on one knee and propose,\u201d though there was major drama shortly after her engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I said,] \u2018Yes.\u2019 Yes, I did [get engaged],\u201d she revealed. \u201cThen, I come home. Obviously [me and ex Dakota Mortensen<\/strong>] were texting. \u2018When are you going to be home?\u2019 I don\u2019t know how it led to it but he came over.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUmm \u2026 I think I know how that happened,\u201d Mikayla, 26, quipped.<\/p>\n

While Doug\u2019s name is never directly mentioned during the clip, the SLOMW<\/em> ladies essentially confirm his identity by revealing Taylor\u2019s suitor has the \u201csame initials\u201d as Dakota. Taylor swore she was initially unaware of the many similarities between Doug and Dakota.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t start thinking that until people said it around me,\u201d she insisted.<\/p>\n

Jessi seemed skeptical, replying, \u201cThey have the same initials. They\u2019re both from Idaho. It\u2019s so weird.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor\u2019s season of The Bachelorette<\/em> was originally supposed to premiere on ABC in February but was pulled off the lineup three days before its debut. At the time, Taylor and ex Dakota were embroiled in a domestic violence investigation in Utah.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Frankie Paul is giving her romance with The Bachelorette contestant Doug Mason a second chance. A source exclusively tells Us Weekly that Taylor, 31, and Doug, 28, are \u201cseeing each other\u201d again and are \u201ctrying to make it work\u201d after her season of the reality dating show was pulled by ABC. \u201cThey were hanging [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Salt Lake County District Attorney\u2019s Office ultimately decided not to press any criminal charges<\/a> in the case \u2014 though Taylor has since been involved in two separate child custody battles with Dakota and her ex-husband, Tate Paul<\/strong>. (Taylor shares Indy May, 8, and Ocean, 6, with Tate while she and Dakota welcomed 2-year-old son Ever True in 2024.)<\/p>\n

With the domestic violence case dropped, Taylor signed and promoted a fan petition<\/a> calling on ABC to air her season of The Bachelorette<\/em>. The Change.org<\/a> petition has since gained more than 25,000 signatures of support, as of publication.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou guys started a petition for the show. I love you all,\u201d she wrote via her Instagram Story in August.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, filming on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> was temporarily halted in February though the full cast \u2014 sans Taylor \u2014 later returned to complete the season. Taylor reportedly shot news scenes<\/a> for SLOMW<\/em>\u2019s opening credits but did not take part in any further group segments with the cast.<\/p>\n

In May, Mormon Wives<\/em> producer Jeff Jenkins<\/strong> confirmed that Taylor and Dakota will not be able to film scenes together for the foreseeable future, as they both have restraining orders requiring them to stay 100 feet away from each other for a period of three years. However, Jenkins hinted to Variety<\/em> at the time that Taylor could be back to filming more regularly on SLOMW<\/em> in the future.<\/p>\n
