\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Erin Andrews<\/strong><\/a> is looking back and recalling the 2009 traumatic experience of the secret video taken of her in her hotel room. <\/p>\n The 48-year-old TV host and sports commentator appeared on Call Her Daddy<\/em>, which debuted on Wednesday (September 2), and made rare comments about a stalker filming her through a peephole<\/a> while she was inside naked.<\/p>\n \u201cI think back in the day, before, remember when the Apple phones were getting hacked and people\u2019s photos were up, and so forth? I had this disgusting person following me around cities,\u201d Erin<\/strong> told host Alex Cooper<\/strong>. \u201cIt was very well publicized where College Game Day was going to be, where Thursday Night Football<\/em> was going to be, and I didn\u2019t have an alias. I didn\u2019t think I was a big deal. I didn\u2019t, you know, who wants to, who cares about what name I\u2019m checking under? And that\u2019s, as you know, the sad realities of what we do for a living. There\u2019s a lot of amazing things, but when you deal with security, it\u2019s a different level, so I found out.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI remember my contract was up. No, my contract wasn\u2019t up. I was gonna get a new agent, you know, when you go to the agent meetings and Dancing with the Stars <\/em>was\u00a0calling\u00a0, and they wanted me to, things were going good. You know, I was working backstage at the ESPYs. I think Justin [Timberlake]<\/strong> was hosting. It was just fun. I can already remember the dress I was wearing, dear God,\u201d she continued. \u201cSo, I came back from a bunch of meetings, and I got a\u00a0call\u00a0from my friend who was working a blog at the time. Blogs were the big deal and he had been\u00a0calling\u00a0me all day and he just said, \u2018Erin<\/strong>, I have to talk to you,\u2019 and I was like, \u2018What\u2019s up? I\u2019m getting on a red eye to go back to Atlanta,\u2019 and he\u2019s like, \u2018There\u2019s naked video of you all over the internet,\u2019\u201d \u2018 and I said, \u2018No, there\u2019s not, I don\u2019t do that. I just don\u2019t,\u2019 and I didn\u2019t, you know, I was like, \u2018What are you talking about? This is made up. This is something that\u2019s not me,\u2019 and he got really, really upset and he goes, \u2018Erin, I\u2019m sending it to you,\u2019 and I looked at it, and I said, \u2018I have to go.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI called my mom and dad right away. I was screaming crying because it was me, and it was me naked in a hotel room walking around, and I just [had an] out-of-body experience, started screaming. My dad said when I called, he thought I was in a car accident because I was screaming so hard, and we talked about how much I love the job, how I liked kind of being the girl next door, and I just said to my dad, \u2018It\u2019s over, my career is over. No one\u2019s going to take me seriously ever again.\u2019 That\u2019s all I ever wanted, right, was people to turn on me and just say, \u2018Oh my gosh, I would love to have a beer with\u00a0her\u00a0and talk football with\u00a0her. I would love to do a sit-down interview with\u00a0her,\u2019 and I just thought, \u2018This is so dirty. No one\u2019s going to ever want to work with me again, talk to me again. This is gross. This changes who I am.’\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe didn\u2019t know anything at that point. Come to find out, after a whole investigation, the FBI gets involved, there\u2019s a trial. There was this disgusting person following me around, and he was setting up his cell phone right up to my hotel room. He would take off the peephole at the door. He would ask for a room next to me, and the hotel never alerted me that this was happening, so they would put this person next to me,\u201d she said. \u201cHe would wait and listen, and he could tell when I was getting into the shower because he could hear it, and he would stand there with a camera, and he filmed me getting ready, and then he put it on the internet, and as you know, when something\u2019s on the internet, it doesn\u2019t come down, so it was a lot. It was a lot that I put my family through with all of it. It was a lot legally.
