Rowan Francis Henchy<\/strong><\/a> has no regrets about how she portrayed herself during her debut season of Next Gen NYC<\/em> \u2014 even if some fans think she gave \u201cnothing\u201d to the cameras.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the comments that are like, \u2018Yes, Rowan, give us nothing,\u2019\u201d Rowan, 23, exclusively told Us<\/em> on Monday, August 31, laughing off criticism of her more reserved approach to season 2 of the Bravo series<\/a>. \u201cBecause like, OK, I\u2019d rather give you nothing than [be] throwing stuff. It\u2019s not in my character. It\u2019s not who I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooke Shields<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 daughter, who made her reality TV debut during the season 2 premiere, noted that she \u201chad fun\u201d which is all that matters.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike at the end of the day, this is fun. This is life. And I don\u2019t care if it\u2019s nothing,\u201d Rowan quipped.<\/p>\n

The Good Morning America<\/em> booking producer<\/a> explained that even with haters questioning her non-confrontational style, she wouldn\u2019t change anything about her performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t really believe in regrets because I think you learn from everything that you do,\u201d Rowan told Us<\/em>. \u201cI don\u2019t regret doing anything in the season. [Are there] things I would have done differently<\/a>? Sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rowan \u2014 who is the eldest child of Shields, 61, and husband Chris Henchy<\/strong> \u2014 admitted that there are things she wants to \u201cdo different every single day\u201d but when it comes to the Bravo show, she\u2019s content with her choices<\/a>. (Shields and Henchy, 62, also share daughter Grier Hammond<\/strong>, 20.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI trust my inner conscience, and I think that the way I approached this past season is, I don\u2019t know, admirable, maybe for myself,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

While many fans of Next Gen NYC<\/em> \u2014 which stars many children from the Real Housewives franchise as they navigate their lives in the Big Apple \u2014 were fans of Rowan\u2019s humor and opinions, she told Us<\/em> she\u2019s learned to let most negative comments roll off her back.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever. It\u2019s fine. I don\u2019t care,\u201d Rowan said of the online jabs.<\/p>\n

The Bravo star, however, did reveal that she has fallen victim to reading social media comments despite being warned not to look at what people are writing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe negative comments for me don\u2019t really bother me at all \u2026 it\u2019s when people kind of come for my character [that annoy me],\u201d Rowan shared, explaining that when someone says she \u201cseems spoiled or rotten<\/a>\u201d that rubs her the wrong way.<\/p>\n

Rowan told Us<\/em>, \u201cI don\u2019t ever want to be perceived as disrespectful. You could say I look like a troll with eight arms and warts everywhere, and I would, like, genuinely probably take it as a compliment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Remarks about how she was raised, however, are off limits.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe second someone kind of questions me or who I am and says maybe, like, she was raised poorly, which I haven\u2019t really seen, that\u2019s where I will kind of put my guard up,\u201d Rowan continued.<\/p>\n

Despite wanting to protect herself from possible misconceptions, Rowan joked that \u201cJulie 967 from Montana\u201d decides to criticize her online, her only response is, \u201cWhat you gonna do, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

Rowan added that as the season comes to an end, she has been lucky enough to not find herself \u201cin hot water,\u201d teasing that \u201cwe\u2019ll see how the rest of the season unfolds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on Rowan\u2019s ability to stay on the periphery in most group arguments, it seems unlikely that she\u2019ll become a problem ahead of the Wednesday, September 9, finale<\/a>.<\/p>\n
