A judge has granted Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a> a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a>, Us<\/em> can exclusively confirm.<\/p>\n

According to court documents obtained by Us<\/em> on Tuesday, September 1, Taylor\u2019s request was both partly granted and denied. The judge noted that part of the request was denied because an adequate ruling requires a hearing. A court date has been scheduled for September 24.<\/p>\n

Taylor\u2019s temporary restraining order will expire on September 24, the same day as the pair\u2019s upcoming court date.<\/p>\n

Earlier on Tuesday, Us<\/em> reported that Taylor, 47, filed a request<\/a> asking the court to deny Cartweight\u2019s temporary restraining order and instead order that she stay more than 100 yards away from him and his home. Taylor claimed that Cartwright, 37, has repeatedly referred to him as \u201can abuser.\u201d He alleged that she \u201cseems determined to make this a label that sticks, even though [he has] done nothing to deserve this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> reached out to Cartwright\u2019s rep for comment regarding the temporary restraining order and her ex\u2019s claims but did not immediately hear back.<\/p>\n

Last month, Cartwright was granted a temporary restraining order<\/a> against Taylor after she accused him of several instances of domestic violence.<\/p>\n

After the order was granted, Taylor broke his silence<\/a> and admitted to regrettable behavior while denying his estranged wife\u2019s allegations.<\/p>\n

\u201cI made a lot of mistakes and behaved in ways during that period of my life that I\u2019m truly ashamed of and regret and take full responsibility for,\u201d Taylor told Us<\/em> in a statement on August 28. \u201cThe person I was in 2024, during the darkest time of my life and at the height of my addiction, is not the person I am today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor and Cartwright are best known for their time on Vanderpump Rules<\/em>. The exes, who share son Cruz, tied the knot in 2019 and separated five years later. Taylor has since moved on with their once-shared publicist, Lori Krebs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
