James Jordan<\/strong> is weighing in<\/a> after offscreen concerns that Lioness<\/em> won\u2019t return after season 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cI certainly hope we return. I love playing this character,\u201d Jordan, 47, who plays Two Cups, exclusively told Us<\/em>. \u201cI love going to work with these fantastic actors and great human beings. It\u2019s a joy to go to work with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordan had high hopes for the future, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s always a pleasure to tell Taylor [Sheridan]\u2019s stories. He\u2019s my favorite writer in the world and in our business. There\u2019s no one like him and I love bringing these characters to life.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cSo I hope we can go do another season. As long as that audience shows up and as long as people show up on Sunday night and say, \u2018Where are we going next? Where\u2019s the next fight going to take us?\u2019 We\u2019re going to keep making this show.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s cool because you get to see these folks as operators \u2014 tactically speaking \u2014 when they\u2019re in that QRF mode. They are kicking down the doors and shooting the bad guys. We get to see this other skill set that they have,\u201d Jordan noted. \u201cThey are going undercover where they are slipping in and out of different personalities and worlds while maintaining focus on the most important mission we\u2019ve had \u2014 and that\u2019s getting Joe back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordan was excited for fans to see how Lioness would keep shaking things up.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first season, the fight took us to the sea. The second season, the fight took us to the air and the third season, the fights come home,\u201d he teased. \u201cThe bad guys have come to her front door and they\u2019ve taken one of our teammates away.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded, \u201cAnd not only just one of our teammates, our leader. So the stakes couldn\u2019t be higher. So Two Cups is willing to do anything to get Joe back.\u201d<\/p>\n

As one of Sheridan\u2019s frequent collaborators, Jordan previously told Us<\/em> he was always looking forward to season 3 of Lioness<\/em> being released.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t say no to the man. He\u2019s my favorite writer in our business. I admire him. He\u2019s a mentor. He\u2019s a friend,\u201d he gushed to Us<\/em>. \u201cNo one works harder than Taylor. He never compromises.
