Olivia Rodrigo<\/strong><\/a>‘s Daisy Chain Fields<\/strong><\/em> festival received another massive donation! <\/p>\n

The 23-year-old singer and actress announced on stage during the event that Melinda<\/strong> <\/strong>F<\/strong>r<\/strong>e<\/strong>n<\/strong>c<\/strong>h<\/strong> Gates<\/strong><\/a> doubled the previously announced $10 million being donated through the festival, bringing the total to $20 million. <\/p>\n

Olivia <\/strong>shared the exciting new update before starting her headlining set at her sold-out festival at Great Park on Saturday (August 29) in Irvine, Calif., where Melinda<\/strong> joined her to celebrate the work and impact of the 10 nonprofit partners who will receive the funds raised by Daisy Chain Fields.<\/p>\n

\u201cDaisy Chain Fields<\/em> is about what can happen when we come together and use our collective power to support one another,\u201d Olivia<\/strong> shared in a statement. \u201cI\u2019m incredibly grateful to Melinda<\/strong> and Pivotal for believing in this mission and making the impact of our first festival twice as powerful. Most of all, I\u2019m so excited about what this means for the incredible organizations we\u2019re supporting and the women, girls and communities they show up for every single day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melinda<\/strong>‘s donation is through Pivotal, which is “a group of organizations she founded to accelerate social progress for women and young people.”<\/p>\n

“Olivia Rodrigo<\/strong> is a force,” Melinda <\/strong>said. “What Daisy Chain Fields <\/em>sets in motion will last far beyond a single night, by opening up opportunity for women and girls around the world and showing a new generation how much their voices matter. I\u2019m so proud to support Olivia<\/strong>\u2019s vision.\u201d<\/p>\n

The day before, Olivia<\/strong> was joined by leaders of the 10 nonprofit partners<\/a> that the festival is benefiting, including Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, and more. <\/p>\n

Daisy Chain Fields<\/em> featured an all-female lineup of artists, including Olivia<\/strong>, of course, Chappell Roan<\/strong>, Doechii<\/strong>, Mitski<\/strong>, Rachel Chinouriri<\/strong>, and more, as well as special guests Stevie Nicks<\/strong>, Sarah McLachlan<\/strong>, and Karen O<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Just two days before the event, KATSEYE<\/strong> dropped out<\/a> due to Megan Skiendiel<\/strong>‘s ankle injury.<\/p>\n
