Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a> is giving his two cents on whether his former Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> costar Raquel Leviss<\/strong><\/a> should return for the show\u2019s 11th season following her affair<\/a> with Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cNo, absolutely not. No,\u201d Taylor, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Tuesday, July 11, while promoting his partnership with Xyon Health. \u201cThere\u2019s nothing healthy about reality TV for anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n Leviss\u2019 future on the Bravo reality series remains up in the air after her affair with castmate Sandoval, 40, left the pair on bad terms with the Pump Rules<\/em> cast at the end of season 10<\/a>. In March, news broke that Sandoval cheated on his girlfriend<\/a> of nine years, Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a>, with Leviss, 28. Following backlash from fans and castmates, Leviss checked herself into a mental health treatment facility<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n Last month, a source exclusively told Us<\/em><\/a> that Leviss was planning to check out of the facility. Another source later confirmed to Us<\/em><\/a> that Leviss was currently \u201cin talks about returning for the next season of Vanderpump Rules<\/em>,\u201d though she had not yet decided \u201cwhether or not she wants to come back to the show.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor, meanwhile, knows that reality TV can be \u201ca very toxic place,\u201d having starred on Pump Rules<\/em> for eight years before he and his wife, Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a>, left the series in December 2020<\/a>. \u201cYou need to have thick skin,\u2019\u201d he told Us<\/em> on Tuesday. \u201cIn my opinion, I think [Raquel] dove into something that was a little bit bigger than her. I don\u2019t think she\u2019s mentally tough enough to be in something like this.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite having only talked to Leviss \u201cmaybe two times in [his] life,\u201d Taylor insisted that he wants \u201cthe best for her.\u201d However, he doesn\u2019t \u201cfeel bad\u201d for anyone on the show when it comes to the drama that plays out on the small screen.<\/p>\n \u201cWe all stepped in this game together,\u201d Taylor \u2014 who shares son Cruz<\/a>, 2, with Cartwright, 34 \u2014 explained. \u201cWe all know what we\u2019re doing. We all signed on the dotted line. I don\u2019t feel bad for anybody. This is what you signed up for. Now you gotta own it.\u201d<\/p>\n The intrigue surrounding Leviss and Sandoval\u2019s affair \u2014 a.k.a \u201cScandoval<\/a>\u201d \u2014 is something Taylor never expected would get as big as it has. However, he attributes part of the scandal\u2019s public interest to the way Sandoval has reacted to it.<\/p>\n \u201cI think he had a little bit of a diva mentality,\u201d the former Bravo star shared. \u201cI [think he] thought he [could] get away with something like this, and I think that\u2019s kind of why it\u2019s got so big and how long it\u2019s been going on. It\u2019s not just your, hookup, you messed up, whatever. I mean, this has been going on for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n While Sandoval issued apologies to Madix<\/a>, 38, and fans<\/a>, it was later revealed that his whirlwind romance with Leviss began in August 2022<\/a> when they first kissed at Sandoval and Madix\u2019s house. (Madix, meanwhile, has moved on<\/a> with Daniel Wai<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s just [a] lack of empathy,\u201d Taylor continued, referring to Sandoval\u2019s actions. \u201cIt\u2019s tone-deafness the way he\u2019s, whoever his team is, the way he\u2019s speaking about this whole situation.\u201d<\/p>\n While Taylor, himself, has yet to reveal whether he\u2019ll be heading back to Pump Rules<\/em> \u2014 he hinted at a possible return<\/a> with Us<\/em> last month \u2014 he\u2019s currently focusing on raising awareness for hair loss through his partnership with Xyon Health.<\/p>\n \u201cI was trying to explore what options I was gonna take, and this is definitely the best option for me right now,\u201d he said of his hair loss journey. \u201cI found it early. It wasn\u2019t like, \u2018Oh my gosh, I\u2019m completely bald on top.\u2019 So, I noticed some thinning.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor said he\u2019s become optimistic about the future of his hair since using the brand\u2019s new shampoo and conditioner. \u201c[Hair loss] happens to everybody and we got such great products in the world today,\u201d he told Us<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s just a great partnership with, with these guys and, you know, I\u2019m looking forward to, uh, to the future with them.<\/p>\n
