Consider yourself a Fannibal? Based on the novels by Thomas Harris<\/strong> (Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0Hannibal Rising<\/i>), the gruesome and gory drama Hannibal<\/i> hit NBC in 2013 \u2014 and fans became obsessed.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Bryan Fuller<\/b>-helmed series \u2014 which starred Danish actor\u00a0Mads Mikkelsen<\/b>\u00a0as the titular cannibalistic serial killer and\u00a0Hugh Dancy<\/b><\/a>\u00a0as criminal profiler Will Graham\u00a0\u2014\u00a0received critical acclaim. In 2013,\u00a0Vulture\u2019s<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Matt Zoller Seitz<\/b>\u00a0called\u00a0Hannibal\u00a0<\/i>\u201cthe most beautiful show on TV, alarmingly so.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2015,\u00a0The New Yorker<\/i>\u2019s<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Emily Nussbaum<\/b>\u00a0wrote of the show\u2019s magnetic pull: \u201cI kept sneaking back, peeking through my fingers \u2014 a glimpse here, a binge there \u2014 either numbing myself or, depending on one\u2019s perspective, properly sensitizing myself. Gradually, my eyes adjusted to the darkness. By midway through season 2,\u00a0Hannibal<\/i>\u00a0felt less like a blood-soaked ordeal than like a macabre masterpiece, pure pleasure and audacity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite this praise, the show only picked up one Primetime Emmy nomination throughout its three seasons, and was canceled in 2015. Fuller didn\u2019t blame the network, however. In a statement at the time, he thanked them for allowing him to \u201ccraft a television series that no other broadcast network would have dared.\u201d<\/p>\n

He starred in Mindy Kaling’s Late Night, The Good Fight and most recently alongside his wife, Claire Danes, on the final season of Homeland.
\nThe couple welcomed sons Cyrus and Rowan in 2012 and 2018, respectively. Danes announced in January 2023 that she was pregnant with baby No. 3. Six months later, news broke that the pair welcomed a daughter.

He’s since appeared in films such as Marvel’s Doctor Strange, Polar with Vanessa Hudgens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as Galen Erso.

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAfter Hannibal, Dhavernas worked on several television shows in her native Canada including Les Beaux Malaises, Blue Moon and Mary Kills People. Dhavernas and her partner, Maxime Le Flaguais, welcomed daughter Françoise in 2018, according to reports.

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOscar nominee Fishburne (What’s Love Got to Do with It) is a beloved character actor and continues to work in film and TV. After Hannibal, the Georgia-born star appeared in the John Wick film series and Where’d You Go, Bernadette alongside Cate Blanchett among other projects. He’s starred on ABC’s Black-ish since 2014. After 14 years of marriage, Fishburne filed for divorce from Suits alum Gina Torres in November 2017. The date of separation was listed as October 14, 2016 — almost a year earlier. 
\n“With heavy hearts, Laurence and I quietly separated and began the dissolution of our marriage in the early fall of last year,” Torres told Us in a statement at the time. “There are no bad guys here. Only a love story with a different ending than either one of us had expected.”

In March 2020, Amazon Prime announced it would be reviving the beloved sketch show with the original members attached, produced by Lorne Michaels. In addition, Thompson continues to voice Grady on The Simpsons, a gig he’s held since 2003.

Most recently, the Canada native cowrote The Lovebirds alongside Brendan Gall and Martin Gero. The film, which stars Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani, hit Netflix in May 2020.

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDuring her time on Hannibal, Anderson was simultaneously starring on The Fall opposite Jamie Dornan. The Golden Globe winner went on to reprise her role of Dana Scully on The X-Files revival and appear on shows like Sex Education and The Crown as Margaret Thatcher. 
\nAnderson, who is dedicated to philanthropy, was appointed an honorary Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2016. It is rewarded to those who make significant and charitable contributions to the arts and sciences. In 2018, the U.K. native received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
