Daily Mail <\/a><\/em>over the weekend in her first in-depth interview since the tragic events of last week.<\/p>\n\u201cI think there will be a discrepancy in the timeline,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n
She went on to question Hickerson\u2019s claim that he administered Narcan immediately after realizing that Hayden had gone into cardiac arrest.<\/p>\n
\u201cBrian had to go out and buy the Narcan while he left her there because I do not believe he happened to have two bottles of Narcan on him, like he carried them around in his back pocket,\u201d Lesley claimed.<\/p>\n
Hickerson says he was napping when Panettiere suffered her medical emergency, which has been described as a \u201cpossible overdose.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lesley also has doubts about that part of the story.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know how you can take a nap near someone who\u2019s dying and not realize something\u2019s wrong,\u201d Lesley said. \u201cHow do you do that?\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWhen the EMTs came, it was for a cardiac arrest. People in cardiac arrest aren\u2019t just lying still. They make noise,\u201d she continued, adding:<\/p>\n
\u201cI think Brian called his brother. My opinion. I think he knew she was deceased. Called his brother, and tried and built this story.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hickerson was arrested on domestic violence charges<\/a> twice during his relationship with Panettiere. He pleaded no contest to a felony charge in 2021.<\/p>\nThe couple was believed to have separated shortly thereafter, but we now know that they reconciled toward the end of Hayden\u2019s life.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen Brian came into her life, the changes started to occur,\u201d Lesley told the Daily Mail.<\/em> \u201cVery early in the game, I thought he\u2019s a modern-day gigolo. I know what he\u2019s after.\u201d<\/p>\nShe went on to say that as she grieves the loss of her daughter, she must remember to stay strong and fight for her.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is infinite sadness,\u201d Lesley said, adding:<\/p>\n
\u201cBut this is not the time for me to be weak. I don\u2019t have the luxury right now of being weak. I have too much to do for Hayden. When I\u2019m done with that, then I will give myself the luxury to mourn \u2013 deeply mourn.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not saying I\u2019m not grieving now. I am, and I do have my moments. But the bigger picture right now is I have to stay strong. I don\u2019t have an option.\u201d<\/p>\n
