The fines have since been paid.<\/p>\n<p>York reportedly posted $5,000 bond following his arrest.<\/p>\n<p>The circumstances surrounding the \u201ccriminal tools\u201d charge have not been publicly detailed. <\/p>\n<p>Court records indicate that $160 seized during the arrest was forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, while York\u2019s cellphone was returned to him.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DcbV6EuOMip\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>The arrest took place in an area with personal significance for York. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and has family ties to the region. East Palestine is roughly 30 minutes from Youngstown.<\/p>\n<p>For many NFL fans, the situation will bring to mind the 2019 incident in which New England Patriots owner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2019\/02\/robert-kraft-new-england-patriots-owner-busted-for-role-in-prost\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Robert Kraft was arrested <\/a>in connection with prostitution charges.<\/p>\n<p>York has served as the 49ers\u2019 CEO since 2008 and currently oversees the organization alongside his duties as team owner.
