She claims Panettiere appeared to have \u201cbright red spots\u201d and \u201cbruises\u201d on her body and looked as though she had been \u201cbattered.\u201d<\/p>\n
Terrazas\u2019 daughter, Vileena Koneru, also witnessed the 2024 incident and reportedly tried to express her concerns to firefighters.<\/p>\n
The neighbor claims Hickerson was present both times and remained \u201cglued to\u201d Panettiere as she was taken away.<\/p>\n
During one of the incidents, Terrazas says she asked the actress if she was OK while she was lying on the gurney.<\/p>\n
Panettiere allegedly responded, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTerrazas says she had already become concerned about what was happening inside Panettiere\u2019s apartment, claiming she frequently heard \u201cmuffled arguments\u201d between the actress and Hickerson.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can tell somebody\u2019s arguing just by the tonality. \u2026 It was very hostile,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n
On another occasion, Terrazas claims she heard Panettiere screaming at Hickerson in an elevator.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust leave me alone! Just stop!\u201d Panettiere allegedly yelled.<\/p>\n
The neighbor also described Hickerson as someone who \u201calways seemed to be high or disconnected,\u201d although she emphasized that she never personally saw either Panettiere or Hickerson using drugs. <\/p>\n
She said Hickerson had an \u201codd, flat effect\u201d and that Panettiere sometimes appeared \u201cout of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Terrazas remembered Panettiere much more fondly, describing the actress as \u201clovely\u201d and saying she was \u201csuch a bright light.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAccording to one report, Hickerson was eventually banned from the property<\/a> by the complex\u2019s homeowners\u2019 association.<\/p>\nThe allegations come as questions surrounding Panettiere\u2019s death continue to mount. The actress died at age 36 on August 16 at an Airbnb in South Carolina. Hickerson and his brother, Zach, were reportedly present around the time of her death.<\/p>\n
Panettiere had previously spoken publicly about her tumultuous relationship with Hickerson and detailed allegations of abuse in her 2023 memoir. <\/p>\n
Hickerson pleaded no contest in 2021 to two felony counts involving injury to a spouse or girlfriend in connection with incidents involving Panettiere. <\/p>\n
He received a jail sentence, probation, domestic-violence classes and a five-year protective order.<\/p>\n
Despite the order and the couple\u2019s turbulent history, Panettiere and Hickerson repeatedly reconciled.<\/p>\n
An autopsy reportedly found no signs of trauma following Panettiere\u2019s death. Authorities are awaiting toxicology results as the investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death continues.<\/p>\n
