Anne Hathaway<\/a>, Lin-Manuel Miranda and the Jonas Brothers – joked to People magazine: \u201cThey said, \u2018Congratulations, Daddy, you\u2019re a Disney legend. What does it mean?\u2019 <\/p>\n“And I sent them back a video and I was like, \u2018It means we get free tickets to Disney for life.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n

Dwayne noted it has been a “great year” for Jasmine and Tiana because they have cameos in the live-action version of Moana.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cThey\u2019re in the movie. They were in Moana 2 as well, just for a couple of seconds.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Jumanji actor thinks it was “special” to be named a Disney Legend and has vowed to use his position to treat people with kindness.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI think Disney Legends is something much bigger \u2026 and I believe it\u2019s powerful what Disney does.<\/p>\n
\n” And what it means, in my opinion, to be a Disney legend is to treat people good and treat them with kindness and try your best to create experiences for them that are meaningful for them and their families all over the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDuring his acceptance speech at the event, Dwayne recalled taking Simone to Disneyland when she was just five years old and experiencing the magic of the brand first-hand when they had breakfast with the princesses.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI was in my 20s \u2026 I was trying to figure that stuff out at that time \u2014 how I was going to be a father, how I was going to be a husband, man, etc.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I remember one of the princesses said, \u2018Close your eyes and make a wish.\u2019 And I\u2019ll never forget, [Simone] closed her eyes and she made a wish.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI just remember that moment on my daughter\u2019s face. I had never seen that before. She was just so into making a wish. \u2026 I said, \u2018God, I wonder what was going through the little mind.’ And it\u2019s just experiences like that that we create that I know she\u2019ll never forget. I\u2019ll never forget. That\u2019s the beauty of Disney. That\u2019s the beauty also of being a Disney Legend.\u201d<\/p>\n
