There’s a third Sicario<\/em><\/strong><\/a> on the way!<\/p>\n

Josh Brolin<\/strong><\/a>, who plays Matt Graver in the 2015 original movie and the 2018 sequel Sicario: Day of the Soldado<\/em>, recently confirmed a third installment in the film franchise.<\/p>\n

The 58-year-old actor said production \u201cis happening\u201d in the near future, and that production is kicking off “soon,” via ScreenRant.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

There are still plenty of unknown details, including the writer(s) of the script, as well as who would be directing the latest installment. <\/p>\n

The cast is also still up in the air. Based on the sequel, we know Benicio del Toro<\/strong>‘s Alejandro Gillick is still around, and Jeffrey Donovan<\/strong> and Raoul Trujillo<\/strong>‘s characters. It’s also unknown whether Emily Blunt<\/strong> could return.<\/p>\n

Taylor Sheridan<\/strong> wrote the original, with Denis Villenueve<\/strong> as the director.<\/p>\n
