Leslie Parrish<\/strong><\/a> has sadly passed away.<\/p>\n

The actress, known for roles in Li’l Abner<\/em>, The Giant Spider Invasion<\/em>, and The Manchurian Candidate<\/em>, died at the age of 90.<\/p>\n

Leslie<\/strong> died at the end of 2025, as confirmed by Erica Berdan<\/strong>, a daughter of Leslie<\/strong>‘s second husband Richard Bach<\/strong>, to The Hollywood Reporter.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Although she had intentions to pursue a career in music, Leslie<\/strong> made her debut at the age of 19 in the modeling world back in the ’50s before being discovered and signed with 20th Century Fox and put under MGM contract.<\/p>\n

Leslie<\/strong> starred in Portrait of a Mobster, For Love or Money<\/em> andThree on a Couch<\/em>, among many other projects.<\/p>\n

She appeared in dozens of movies and TV shows throughout the ’60s and ’70s, including Batman<\/em>, Star Trek<\/em>, and The Wild Wild West<\/em>. Her last credited roles were 1978’s The Astral Factor<\/em> and No Margin for Error<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Her interest in social causes led her to become involved in politics, including becoming a member of the Jeannette Rankin Brigade<\/a>, comprised of women fighting against the Vietnam War. <\/p>\n

She also founded Speakers and Talent Organized for Peace (STOP), an anti-war organization. <\/p>\n

In later years, she dedicated her life to environmental activism, including a wildlife sanctuary on Orcas Island, called Spring Hill Wildlife Sanctuary.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a dream come true and one of the best things I\u2019ve done in my life. You don\u2019t have to have children to enjoy the idea of preserving land for future generations. It\u2019s what I\u2019m most proud of, and it will surely, more than any other work I\u2019ve ever done, be the accomplishment that outlasts me,” she said in a statement.<\/a><\/p>\n

She was married first to Ric Marlow<\/strong> in 1955 before their 1961 divorce, followed by Richard Bach<\/strong>. They would later divorce in 1999.<\/p>\n
