Andrew Garfield<\/strong><\/a> does not have a public account on Instagram, but he scrolls on the app just as much as anybody else. <\/p>\n

The 43-year-old Oscar-nominated actor is opening up about the secret account he has on the social media app, including the type of content he sees. <\/p>\n

Andrew<\/strong> told Variety<\/a><\/em> that he’s often fed content about \u201cweird ceramics\u201d and \u201clots of Japanese kind of craftspeople.\u201d<\/p>\n

And he’s addicted!<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m as addicted as anybody. My screen time notifications are horrific to me. It\u2019s like, I\u2019ve given all of those hours to nothing,\u201d Andrew<\/strong> said. \u201cIt\u2019s genuinely enraging because we don\u2019t have as much control over these impulses as we should, and it\u2019s been by design. It\u2019s pretty dark when you look at it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrew<\/strong> is currently promoting his new movie The Magic Faraway Tree<\/em><\/a>, which is now playing in theaters. The family movie is based on Enid Blyton<\/strong>\u2018s classic children\u2019s series. The original novels were published between 1939 and 1951.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a synopsis: \u201cThe Magic Faraway Tree<\/em> centers on Polly (Claire<\/strong> Foy<\/strong>), Tim (Garfield<\/strong>), and their three children as they are forced to relocate to the remote English countryside. As they adapt to their new lives, the children discover a magical tree\u00a0that houses eccentric residents,\u00a0including treasured characters Moonface (<\/a>Nonso Anozie<\/strong>), Silky (Nonso Coughlan<\/strong>), Dame Washalot (Jessica Gunning<\/strong>), and Saucepan Man (Dustin Demri-Burns<\/strong>). At the top of the tree, they are transported to spectacular, fantastical lands, and through the joys and challenges of their adventures, the family learns to reconnect and value each other for the first time in years.\u201d<\/p>\n
