Prince Harry<\/a>, 41, and their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five. <\/p>\nThe Hollywood Reporter has described the discussions as advanced, although other reports have stressed no contract is in place, no character has been confirmed and Netflix has not yet officially renewed The Gentlemen for a third season.<\/p>\n
The Sun has reported Meghan could play a \u201ctemptress\u201d on the show, although that description has not been confirmed by Netflix. <\/p>\n

Royal biographer Hugo Vickers has now told the publication he believes Meghan could seek restrictions on what the character would involve.<\/p>\n
\nHugo said: \u201cI suspect that there won\u2019t be sort of raunchy scenes and things, but I could be wrong.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI think it\u2019s very unlikely because I think that she will consider that her mere presence in the series will justify the fee that she will be being paid and therefore there\u2019s no need to go too far.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHugo also claimed Meghan could seek contractual boundaries if negotiations progressed.<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cKnowing her ways, I\u2019m sure she will stipulate all sorts of things and I think she is capable of putting all sorts of boundaries up.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cOn the other hand, supposing she decides to go ahead, mean, actors are meant to do what they\u2019re told to, frankly, in these series.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf it demands somewhat more, I don\u2019t know how to put it, more sort of inappropriate, perhaps that\u2019s the right word, appearance by her, then I guess that will possibly happen.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I don\u2019t think it will. I think she\u2019ll be putting all sorts of clauses and boundaries in, because that\u2019s the way she operates.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMeghan became internationally known playing paralegal Rachel Zane in the US legal drama Suits, appearing in the series for seven seasons before leaving ahead of her marriage to Harry in 2018. <\/p>\n
\nHer previous screen credits also include CSI: NY, 90210, Horrible Bosses, Anti-Social, When Sparks Fly and Dater\u2019s Handbook.<\/p>\n
\nShe has since returned to acting with a cameo as herself in the forthcoming comedy Close Personal Friends, which also stars Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding.<\/p>\n
\nThe Gentlemen stars Theo James as Eddie Horniman, an aristocratic former soldier who inherits his family estate before discovering that it forms part of an underground cannabis operation. <\/p>\n
\nKaya Scodelario plays Susie Glass, while Daniel Ings also stars.<\/p>\n
\nIts second season will arrive on Netflix on September 3. <\/p>\n
\nHugo also questioned how much influence Harry would have over Meghan\u2019s choice of acting roles.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI imagine she\u2019ll do exactly what she wants, regardless of what Prince Harry thinks.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019m not sure how much he\u2019d welcome his wife taking part in inappropriate scenes in TV or series or films or whatever, but she\u2019ll do whatever she wants I guess.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI think she\u2019ll call the shots, yes I do. Definitely.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe possible role comes as Meghan and Harry prepare for another significant change by returning to Britain after six years based in California. <\/p>\n
\nThe couple are expected to retain their Montecito home while Archie and Lilibet attend school in Britain.<\/p>\n
\nMeghan\u2019s relationship with Netflix also extends beyond acting. <\/p>\n
\nThrough her and Harry\u2019s Archewell Productions company, she and the Duke have worked with the streamer on projects including Harry and Meghan, Polo and With Love, Meghan, and their partnership was renewed in 2025 under a multi-year first-look agreement.<\/p>\n
