Dolores Catania <\/b><\/a>is setting the record straight on the viral speculation that Liz McGraw <\/b>is filming for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island<\/em><\/a> season 2 after announcing her departure.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is a fake news rumor,\u201d Dolores, 55, stated on the Thursday, August 20, episode of iHeartRadio\u2019s \u201cTwo Ts in a Pod\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a>. \u201cShe is not filming this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, social media footage surfaced of what looked like Liz, 56, with one of her costars amid production for season 2.<\/p>\n

Liz, who has not addressed the speculation, announced her exit from the show last month after just one season.<\/p>\n

It was announced at BravoCon 2025 that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star would appear on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island in a \u201cfriend of\u201d role, thanks to her connection to new Housewife Liz McGraw. Along with Dolores and Liz, the upcoming show [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m full of gratitude for the amazing opportunity to appear on this show,\u201d Liz wrote in an Instagram statement<\/span><\/a> shared in July. \u201cAs filming for season 2 begins, I have made the decision to take a step back and focus on my family, my work and my passions. The RHORI<\/i> cast is an amazing group of women who have created something special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Liz was among the Bravo show\u2019s original cast<\/a> when it premiered earlier this year, alongside Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Rulla Pontarelli, Alicia Carmody, Kelsey Swanson, Rosie DiMare <\/b>and Ashley Iaconetti. <\/b>Dolores, Liz\u2019s longtime pal, appeared in a \u201cfriend of\u201d role. (The season 2 cast has not been officially revealed.)<\/p>\n

While announcing her exit, Liz stressed that she would still be cheering for the other Bravo ladies.<\/p>\n
