Priyanka Chopra<\/strong><\/a> is sharing the secret to her successful marriage to Nick Jonas<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old Citadel<\/em> star stepped out at the New York City premiere of The Cycle of Love<\/em> on Thursday night (August 20). <\/p>\n

The documentary, which she executive produced, is about the story of Delhi street artist PK Mahanandia<\/strong> who traveled 6,000 miles by bicycle to reach the woman he loved, Charlotte Von Schedvin<\/strong>, in 1977. Mahanandia<\/strong> and Charlotte<\/strong>‘s children Emelie Mahanandia Von Schedvin<\/strong> and Karl Mahanandia Von Schedvin<\/strong> were also producers on the project, per E! News<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Now they’ve been married for 50 years, and their kids are producing this movie with me,” Priyanka<\/strong> told E!<\/em>. “Everything about it is so heartwarming, and just makes me feel like, in this crazy world right now, it’s this ray of sunshine.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While attending the premiere, she also spoke to E!<\/em> about her bond to Nick<\/strong>, and how much she cherishes his ability to embrace Indian culture and traditions. <\/p>\n

“I don’t know if I’d love him if he didn’t,” Quantico <\/em>alum said. “That is a big part of any story or any relationship that is multicultural. I think it’s really important to have a sense of respect for your partner’s roots.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The couple have been married almost eight years now after tying the knot in 2018. Throughout that time, the Jonas Brothers<\/strong><\/a> member has helped his wife ensure their daughter Malti<\/strong>, 4, forges a deep connection to her Indian heritage by celebrating Hindu holidays and more.<\/p>\n

Asked about how she and Nick<\/strong> maintain their love, Priyanka<\/strong> said it’s all about “being kind to your partner. That’s something that’s really important.”<\/p>\n
