Fiona Dourif<\/strong><\/a> is dating someone new!<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old The Pitt<\/strong><\/a><\/em> star, who plays Dr. Cassie McKay, has revealed that she’s actually dating a real-life internal medicine doctor, which is quite ironic given what she does on television.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m in a new relationship,\u201d Fiona <\/strong>shared at the HBO Max\u2019s Emmy Nominee Celebration earlier this month, per People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cAnd the funny thing that I think is relevant to the show is \u2014 I didn\u2019t meet him through\u00a0The Pitt<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 but he\u2019s actually a medical doctor, and he didn\u2019t watch\u00a0The Pitt\u00a0<\/em>because it\u2019s too much like work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since she is a “fake doctor” and he’s a real one, she says her boyfriend thinks it’s “really funny.”<\/p>\n

Fiona<\/strong> also said, \u201cit\u2019s funny, because the fact that he\u2019s a doctor is about the ninth thing I would say about him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fiona said they met after a meditation retreat<\/h3>\n

\u201cWe have a shared interest in sort of masochistic ascetic meditation retreats,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

Fiona<\/strong> continued, \u201cHe just happens to be a doctor, but I think it\u2019s a pretty funny\u2026 It feels like a coincidence.”<\/p>\n

He reportedly had not seen the show when they met, but now he has and she even plans to bring him to the Emmy Awards in September.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a very private person. This has nothing to do with his life, and I think he\u2019s just really proud of me and is there to support me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
