Wladimir Klitschko<\/strong><\/a> is paying tribute to late ex Hayden Panettiere<\/strong><\/a> on what would have been her 37th birthday.<\/p>\n

If you didn’t see the sad news, the Bring It On: All of Nothing<\/em> actress died on Sunday<\/a>, August 16 at the young age of 36 after going into cardiac arrest in an apartment in South Carolina.<\/p>\n

Five days later on Friday (August 21), the 50-year-old Ukrainian former pro boxer took to Instagram<\/a> to honor Hayden<\/strong> on her birthday.<\/p>\n

“Today is Hayden\u2019s birthday. Instead of celebrating the way we had planned, today we celebrate her life, her spirit, and the love she brought into this world,” Wladimir<\/strong> began. “I want to thank all of Hayden\u2019s fans, friends, and everyone who has reached out for the incredible outpouring of love and support. At a time filled with so much sadness, your kindness has reminded me that there is still so much good in humanity.”<\/p>\n

Wladimir Klitschko and Hayden Panettiere were previously engaged and have a child together<\/h3>\n

Wladimir <\/strong>and Hayden<\/strong> met in 2009, and were together for two years before split. The couple reunited in 2013, and got engaged.<\/p>\n

The following year, it was announced<\/a> that Hayden<\/strong> was pregnant with their daughter. In December 2014, Hayden<\/strong> gave birth to their daughter<\/a>, Kaya<\/strong>, who was born at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and measured 20 inches.<\/p>\n

Following the birth of Kaya<\/strong>, Hayden <\/strong>struggled with postpartum depression, which she has been open about.<\/p>\n

Hayden<\/strong> and Wladimir<\/strong> broke up in 2019<\/a> after nine years together, and they continued to co-parent Kaya<\/strong>. However, amid Hayden<\/strong>\u2018s struggles, it was revealed the following year that Kaya <\/strong>was living in Ukraine<\/a> with her father.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Wladimir<\/strong> released a statement reacting to news of Hayden<\/strong>‘s passing, and revealed the promise he made<\/a> to their 11-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n
