Kelly Osbourne feels better after going on vacation<\/p>\n
The 41-year-old star and her son Sidney – who she has with former fiance Sid Wilson – have been enjoying a vacation with friends and now the Lego Masters Jr. host has vowed to incorporate more holidays in her life after realising how much of a difference some time off has made to her wellbeing.<\/p>\n
Sharing a series of photos from her trip, she wrote on Instagram: “I\u2019m really learning how important it is to step away from the madness sometimes.<\/p>\n
“I get so wrapped up in life, work, people, plans\u2026 everything going on around me, that I genuinely forget I\u2019m allowed to stop. To switch off. To breathe. To just be.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“This holiday has reminded me that taking a break isn\u2019t wasting time \u2014 sometimes it\u2019s exactly what you need to come back to yourself.<\/p>\n
\n“I honestly feel reborn. Lighter, calmer, happier\u2026 and very much NOT ready to go home.<\/p>\n
\n“Note to self: do this more often. Life will still be there when you get back.(sic)”<\/p>\n
\nLast month, Kelly reflected on the one-year anniversary of father Ozzy Osbourne’s death and admitted she is not the same person she was before he passed away in July 2025. <\/p>\n
\nShe took to Instagram ahead of the tragic anniversary to share a new post explaining \u201cwhat I\u2019ve learned about grief in the last year\u201d, in which she said that Ozzy\u2019s passing had divided her life \u201cinto two people – the one you were before and the one left behind\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nKelly began: \u201cI don\u2019t just mourn the father I lost. I mourn the soul I was before death taught my heart its own name. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThere\u2019s a grief that steals more than the person you love. It quietly takes the light from your laughter, the innocence from your hope and the stranger you become is someone you\u2019ll spend a lifetime trying to recognise.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhile some people think \u201cgrief is missing someone who is gone\u201d, Kelly insisted that the \u201cdeepest sorrow is waking each day longing for the version of yourself who died with them\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nShe continued: \u201cGrief is a language no-one truly speaks until life forces it upon them. It cannot be explained, borrowed or imagined. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cYou only understand its endless ache when you\u2019ve stood in the unbearable silence, carrying a love that has nowhere left to go.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Papa Don’t Preach singer admitted she misses \u201cwho I was before my daddy died\u201d, adding: \u201cBefore my heart became a home for absence. Before every memory became both a blessing and a wound.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKelly concluded her post by writing: \u201cAnd perhaps that is grief\u2019s cruellest truth. Not that death teases the ones we love but that it leaves us living as ghosts of the people we used to be.\u201d<\/p>\n
