Camila Morrone<\/strong><\/a> has joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming new Miami Vice \u201985<\/strong><\/a><\/em> movie!<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old Emmy-nominated actress will be starring alongside Michael B Jordan<\/strong><\/a> and Austin Butler<\/strong><\/a> in the latest feature adaptation of the classic ’80s crime series, Deadline<\/a><\/em> reports.<\/p>\n

As of right now, Camila<\/strong>‘s character details are being kept under wraps.<\/p>\n

Joseph Kosinski<\/strong> will be directing the movie for Universal from a script written by Dan Gilroy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What is Miami Vice ’85<\/em> about?<\/h3>\n

The upcoming movie \u201cexplores the glamour and corruption of the mid-\u201980s Miami in an all new version,\u201d and is inspired by the first episode of the 1980s TV series.<\/p>\n

It was previously announced Michael<\/strong> will be playing Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs with Austin<\/strong> playing Sonny Crockett.<\/p>\n

The cast also includes Alden Ehrenreich<\/strong><\/a> and Whitney Peak<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Miami Vice \u201985<\/em> is set to be filmed for IMAX, with production starting later this year. The movie is currently slated for a May 19, 2028 release.<\/p>\n
