Hallmark Channel star Holly Robinson Peete<\/strong><\/a> is calling out Hayden Panettiere<\/strong>‘s estranged mother Lesley Vogel<\/strong><\/a> for her statement on her daughter’s tragic passing.<\/p>\n

Lesley Vogel’s statement on Hayden Panettiere\u2019s death<\/h3>\n

Here’s what Hayden<\/strong>‘s mother said in her first statement on the tragedy.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThis person in her life that we have been trying to get rid of for quite some time was with her at her death, and that was Brian Hickerson<\/strong><\/a>,\u201d she told NBC News<\/a>. Hickerson <\/strong>was Hayden<\/strong>\u2018s on-again\/off-again boyfriend, and was with her when she was pronounced dead<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Hayden was an amazingly talented person in so many departments and I think young people who grow up in the entertainment industry \u2014 it is a struggle and it\u2019s a very challenging industry and it\u2019s not unusual for them to sadly find the wrong path,\u201d she said.<\/a><\/p>\n

Holly Robinson Peete saw Gayle King’s viral reaction to the statement<\/h3>\n

Gayle<\/strong> said, in part,<\/a> \u201cYou know, guys, you read this and all I can think is, \u2018Thanks, Mom, for nothing.’…It makes me so sad of the opportunity that you have after your daughter\u2019s death that that\u2019s what you choose to leave us with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holly took to X<\/a>\/Twitter to respond to Gayle<\/strong>‘s statements<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“She\u2019s not wrong,” she began. “We know this young lady clearly had so many issues, but if you\u2019re not gonna take accountability for the fact that you put her in the business that eventually messed her up then nothing you say has any integrity.”<\/p>\n

She continued, “She didn\u2019t even say ‘I will miss my daughter’ or ‘I loved my daughter the best way I could.’ Has she even mentioned the word daughter? There were so many things she could have said to show us that she was a caring, mother\u2026 And now both of her children are gone. It is all so tragic.”<\/p>\n
