Rosie is guest hosting the late night show this week in Jimmy\u2019s absence, and has been interviewing a slew of celebrities in the role. <\/p>\n
However, in a video on YouTube, Kathy took aim at Rosie for not including her among her showbiz guests.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cMy feelings are really hurt that I was not invited to go on\u00a0Rosie\u2019s week of the\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel\u00a0show. And I love\u00a0Jimmy\u00a0so much. He\u2019s one of my oldest friends. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cI love\u00a0Rosie. She\u2019s one of my oldest friends. Like I said, we\u2019re good pals. We\u2019re like sisters, and everybody knows sisters fight. Sisters and brothers fight. Best friends fight. Relatives, co-workers fight. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd we\u2019re not even fighting. I\u2019m just being honest.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKathy added that Rosie told her about doing Kimmel for a week, and \u201cone of the first things I said was, \u2018Well, this doesn\u2019t need to be said, but I would love to be a guest\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe continued, referring to her and Rosie\u2019s respective feuds with U.S. president Donald Trump: \u201cThink about it. You\u2019ve got these two women who share this very unique thing in common. And while what happened to me was much more extreme than what happened to\u00a0Rosie, it\u2019s pretty unusual that you\u2019ve got these two women that have been so outspoken. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe wasn\u2019t the president when she talked about him on\u00a0The View, but he was the president when I talked about him. And as I have spoken about before, most of Hollywood turned on me overnight. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe phone stopped ringing. I got fired from every job that I had coming up. I ended up going on for seven years without work, which was really bad for my brain.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKathy concluded by saying that she\u2019d been assured the decision not to include her in Rosie\u2019s guest stint wasn\u2019t made by bosses at Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as she added: \u201cI will watch every night and cheer her on. Of course. If I have one call to action, it\u2019s that you guys watch the show and support her. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cSupport comedy. Support women in comedy. Support bold people in comedy because we don\u2019t get rewarded very much. We usually get fired.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI am just here to tell you my feelings were hurt. That\u2019s it. That\u2019s as deep as it gets. I\u2019m always honest with you guys, good, bad or indifferent, and this felt like one of the times I just had to kind of put it out there and see how you feel.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRo\u0219ie responded to Kathy by leaving a comment on the YouTube, writing: \u201cKathy- shoulda called me honey \u2013 I didn\u2019t choose the guests \u2026\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
