Guillermo Rodriguez<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out following comments that he’s being set up to fail on Dancing With the Stars.<\/strong><\/a><\/em> <\/p>\n

The 55-year-old television personality, who is known as Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong><\/a>‘s sidekick on his ABC late night talk show, will be partnered with pro dancer Witney Carson<\/strong><\/a> on the upcoming season of the competition series. <\/p>\n

If you didn’t see already, Witney<\/strong> just announced that she is pregnant with her third child. <\/p>\n

Witney Carson won DWTS season 34 alongside Robert Irwin<\/h3>\n

Witney Carson<\/strong> is the reigning champion on DWTS<\/em> after winning season 35 alongside celeb partner Robert Irwin<\/strong><\/a>. She last won the Mirror Ball alongside Alfonso Ribeiro<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t know, Witney<\/strong> is married to Carson McAllister<\/strong><\/a>, and they have two children: Kevin Leo <\/strong>(born January 2021) and Jet Carson<\/strong> (born May 2023).<\/p>\n

Guillermo addressed allegations that he’ll be eliminated early<\/h3>\n

During Rosie O’Donnell<\/strong><\/a>‘s guest stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em> on Wednesday (August 19), she asked Guillermo if he thinks he’ll get voted off the show early. <\/p>\n

Fans think that Guillermo<\/strong> was partnered with Witney<\/strong> because producers don’t think he’ll last long on the show and it will ensure she gets to wrap up her season early to focus on her pregnancy. <\/p>\n

“That’s not going to happen because I’m trying my best and I’m working hard and I want to go all the way to the finals!” Guillermo<\/strong> said. <\/p>\n

Guillermo<\/strong> said that his rehearsals have been “very tiring” and he’s learning “little by little.” His first dance will be the Cha-cha. <\/p>\n

Dancing with the Stars<\/em> will have a two-night premiere on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8:00 p.m. on ABC and Disney+ and streams next day on Hulu. The full cast of celebrities and pro dancers will be announced on Wednesday, September 2, on Good Morning America<\/em>.<\/p>\n
