Police were called to a home belonging to a relative of Brian Hickerson on Wednesday (19.08.26), days after the death of his on\/off girlfriend Hayden Panettiere<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brian Hickerson was with Hayden Panettiere when she died<\/p>\n

The Heroes actress passed away at a property in South Carolina on Sunday (16.08.26) at the age of 36, and it subsequently emerged that the executive assistant – who was previously jailed for domestic violence incidents involving the late star – and his brother, Zach Hickerson, were present during her final moments, despite the widespread belief they had split for good in 2022.<\/p>\n

And just a few days later, officers from the Greenville Police Department arrived at a property in the area at around 8:20am, knocking on several doors but left after a few minutes when there was no response, Page Six reported.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson told People magazine: “[Officers] responded to a call for a welfare check at a home belonging to Brian Hickerson\u2019s family on Wednesday morning. The call is unrelated to the Hayden Panettiere<\/a> death investigation and did not require an incident report.\u201d<\/p>\n

\t\t\t<\/p>\n

Hayden was found “unresponsive” at around 1:50pm on Sunday, and according to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, first responders and emergency medical personnel initiated “advanced cardiac life support” measures.<\/p>\n

\nTheir statement added: “However, resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and the individual was pronounced deceased at 2:32 pm.”<\/p>\n

\nNo official cause of death has yet been released, but dispatch audio that has been released showed discussions of “overdose” and “cardiac arrest”.<\/p>\n

\nAn insider has claimed that the Nashville star reconnected with Brian around two weeks before she died, and they had spent a week together in Los Angeles before heading out east.<\/p>\n

\nA source told Page Six: \u201cHe was supposed to leave, but somehow, they ended up on a flight to South Carolina, where he is from.”<\/p>\n

\nBut the insider stressed that \u201cthings did not appear to be romantic\u201d between the pair.<\/p>\n

\nThey added: \u201cBrian would always find a way to work his way back into Hayden\u2019s life as \u2018a friend.\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n

\nHayden’s close friends were said to have been “always concerned” about her relationship with Brian, who they saw as “bad news” and “a real jerk”.<\/p>\n

\nBut one pal claimed Hayden – who had 11-year-old daughter Kaya with former partner Wladimir Klitschko – had kept their reconnection a secret.<\/p>\n

\nAnother source said: \u201cIf Brian was back in her life then it was something she was hiding because she wasn\u2019t speaking about it with many of her friends.\u201d<\/p>\n
