<\/em>on Tuesday, August 18.<\/p>\nHe explained that he and Natalie were raised to believe in things like American exceptionalism and to see the US as \u201cthe boss of the world.\u201d There was also slavery apologism in their upbringing \u2014 something that Preston, at least, has clearly unlearned.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think my sister unfortunately didn\u2019t break out of that delusion my mom raised us with. Trump is everything my mom taught us to respect,\u201d he lamented.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that\u2019s where her infatuation for Trump comes from, honestly,\u201d Preston speculated, \u201cbecause I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a physical attraction. Let\u2019s be real.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite obvious reasons to doubt it (we listed a few in our earlier coverage), some have suggested that Natalie is Trump\u2019s mistress.<\/p>\n\n\n
<\/svg><\/button><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\nIn 2023, Trump was due in court. Being found legally responsible for committing a violent crime would have been seen as politically disqualifying just a couple of decades ago.<\/p>\n
According to Preston, Natalie jumped into the trunk of a vehicle in Trump\u2019s motorcade.<\/p>\n
Her reason? Trump allegedly wanted her with him when he went to court, and all of the seats were full.<\/p>\n
Preston was quick to label this \u201can unhealthy obsession.\u201d It is not a disposition that he understands \u2014 at least not from her side.<\/p>\n
\u201cTrump\u2019s best friends are people who are his fan club,\u201d Preston accurately observed. \u201cThat\u2019s probably why he likes her. And, like, she\u2019s good-looking. She\u2019s got a good personality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
<\/svg><\/button><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n\u2018We all have to come together and try to make it better\u2019<\/h2>\n Obviously, Preston and Natalie Harp\u2019s estrangement in recent years has likely been painful for them both.<\/p>\n
He used his appearance on CNN to issue a plea to his sister.<\/p>\n
Preston expressed a desire that Natalie change and \u201crealize that everybody on this Earth is part of a human family and that no country is better than any other country.\u201d <\/p>\n
He then acknowledged: \u201cThe history of the United States is unfortunate \u2026 and it shouldn\u2019t be rewritten.\u201d He had previously made reference to Trump\u2019s desire to lie about American history rather than to confront past evils.<\/p>\n
Preston sagely affirmed: \u201cWe all have to come together and try to make it better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
<\/svg><\/button><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\nIt is probably no surprise to learn that someone who grows up to become part of the Trump regime was raised on dishonestly, lies, and tales of supremacy.<\/p>\n
In fact, we\u2019d say that it\u2019s both noble and impressive that Preston seems to have clawed himself out of that and become such a well-adjusted adult. That cannot have been easy.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, Natalie has not. And, as someone who is an active part of the Trump regime, it\u2019s unlikely that she can ever be redeemed.<\/p>\n
She could, at least, make peace with loved ones like her brother if she resolves to change and grow as a person.<\/p>\n
We do not believe that she\u2019s Trump\u2019s mistress, as some have claimed. But her twisted infatuation with America\u2019s worst enemy is an even worse idea to consider. Hopefully, she will get help soon.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
