Rosie O’Donnell has taken another dig at Donald Trump<\/p>\n
The 64-year-old comedian has been locked in a war of words with the US president for several years, and she even relocated to Ireland after he was elected for a second time.<\/p>\n
During her current guest hosting stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said on Tuesday’s (18.08.26) episode: “This has been kind of a strange experience for me because all of a sudden I\u2019m re-famous.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m back in the spotlight, all thanks to President Oompa J. Loompa, who is watching us this evening from inside a catering cart.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“You know, I couldn\u2019t have done it without you, sweetie. You brought me back! Just like you did with fascism and the measles!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLater in her opening monologue, she referenced Trump’s claim that the Strait of Hormuz is now a US territory.<\/p>\n
\nShe quipped: “We also learned today \u2013 that the United States could be acquiring some new land soon.<\/p>\n
\n“Velveeto Corleone was up bright and early at 7 AM this morning to post an image of a map \u2013 listing the Strait of Hormuz as a US Territory. Which makes literally no sense. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019ll put it this way: if the US is in charge of the strait, then I\u2019m also straight. And let\u2019s face it, I\u2019m not. The moronothon continues!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLast week, Rosie admitted she can’t understand why his “obvious criminal behaviour” hasn’t proven to be a turn off for voters.<\/p>\n
\nShe said on The Tangle podcast: “I can\u2019t think of anyone else in my life who supports him, and I don\u2019t understand the people who do. His cruelty is so blatant. His criminal behaviour is so obvious. His misogyny, his racism, his homophobia. He\u2019s just a very dark spirit, and I don\u2019t know why that\u2019s not obvious to the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRosie relocated to Ireland after Trump was elected president again, and she’s been relieved to find she has a lot of support over there.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI mean, I think it\u2019s obvious outside of the U.S. because, in Ireland, not one person has said to me that they like him.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cPeople come over to me and go, \u2018Rosie, I\u2019d like to buy you a pint cause we hate him, too.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018Fantastic.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
