Tulsa King<\/em>\u2018s future has been revealed ahead of creator Taylor Sheridan<\/strong>\u2018s move to NBC.<\/a><\/p>\n

Paramount+\u2019s head of originals, Jane Wiseman<\/strong>, spoke with Deadline<\/em><\/a> on Monday, August 17, about the show, saying, \u201cWe\u2019re about to announce the premiere date for Tulsa King<\/em> season 4, that one is coming out. It\u2019s an incredible season. Sly [Stallone] is in great form in the show, and there\u2019s going to be some surprises. But that show is continuing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wiseman was then asked if the series could return after season 4.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt could. Between Tulsa and Landman, which Taylor is writing right now,\u201d she teased. \u201cFrisco, Dutton, Madison, we have a lot of business, and we\u2019re going to be in business for time to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

While other super-producers \u2014 Ryan Murphy and Shonda Rhimes, for example \u2014 enlist other writers and directors to work on projects bearing [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It was previously reported by Variety<\/em> reported that a writers\u2019 room for Tulsa King<\/em> season 5 is now open. Despite being largely filmed in Atlanta, the show will make the swap and relocate to New York.<\/p>\n

The outlet claimed the decision was driven by both budgetary and storyline considerations. With New York increasing its film tax incentive program twice in the last three years, Tulsa King<\/em> made the official move.<\/a><\/p>\n

The potential shakeup comes<\/a> after Tulsa King<\/em> has faced some challenges behind the scenes. The Paramount+ series started with Terence Winter<\/strong> as the showrunner alongside Sheridan. Once Tulsa King<\/em> was renewed for season 2, Winter resigned as showrunner due to creative differences but returned as the series\u2019 head writer.<\/p>\n

Sheridan opted not to fill the role of a showrunner for season 2 and instead hired a director and executive producer to oversee day-to-day production.<\/p>\n
