Kim Cattrall<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out following the death of her former co-star Hayden Panettiere<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you did not hear the tragic news, the Heroes<\/em> star passed away on Sunday<\/a> (August 16) at a residence in South Carolina. She died just five days shy of her 37th birthday.<\/p>\n

The following day, Kim<\/strong>, 69, took to Instagram<\/a> to share a sweet tribute to Hayden<\/strong>, whom she starred alongside in the 2005 Disney movie Ice Princess<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Rest in peace sweet Hayden. Gone far too soon,” Kim<\/strong> wrote along with the broken heart emoji. She also shared a photo of herself in Hayden<\/strong> in the movie.<\/p>\n

In Ice Princess<\/em>, Hayden<\/strong> played Gen Harwood while Kim<\/strong> played her mom, Tina. The movie was led by the late Michelle Trachtenberg<\/strong><\/a>, who sadly passed in February 2025 at the age of 39.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the synopsis<\/strong>: Casey Carlyle (Trachtenberg<\/strong>) is supposed to go to Harvard, just like her mother (Joan Cusack<\/strong>). While Casey has the grades to get into her mom\u2019s alma mater, what she really wants to do is pursue her passion: figure skating. Both Casey\u2019s mom and Gen (Panettiere<\/strong>), the captain of the local team, scoff at the idea of Casey on the ice. But Casey soon finds an unlikely ally, and coach, in Gen\u2019s mom, Tina (Kim Cattrall<\/strong>), a former skater trying to live down mistakes from her past.<\/p>\n
