There’s a new update about Perez Hilton<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

A statement posted to the 48-year-old gossip blogger’s website <\/a>revealed that he is still in the hospital.<\/p>\n

The statement began, “To everyone who has reached out, checked in, and kept Perez and our family in your thoughts, THANK YOU!”<\/p>\n

They added, “At this time, Perez remains hospitalized and is receiving the medical care he needs. His treatment is continuing in an inpatient setting under the care of a dedicated team of medical and mental health professionals.”<\/p>\n

They shared that “Perez\u2019s health remains the priority.”<\/p>\n

If you did not see, police were called<\/a> to the 48-year-old blogger\u2019s Miami home earlier this month amid concerns as he appeared to commit acts of self-harm and was covered in blood during a livestream. He was then transported to the hospital, where he was reported earlier this week to be in serious but stable condition<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Perez<\/strong>\u2018s sister recounted what happened<\/a>, noting she did not recognize him when she looked at him.<\/p>\n
