Boy Meets World<\/em><\/a> alum Danielle Fishel<\/strong><\/a> looked back on leaving an \u201cunhealthy relationship\u201d when she was 19.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was a rough year for Danielle, personally,\u201d Fishel, 45, recalled on the Thursday, August 13, episode of the \u201cPod Meets World\u201d<\/a> podcast. \u201cI was in a very bad, unhealthy relationship that also then ended around \u2026 the end 2000 or beginning of 2001.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fishel remembered that she was \u201cnot auditioning at all\u201d around the time Boy Meets World<\/em> finished its seven season run in 2000. Instead, she was trying to pick up the pieces from a relationship that had taken an emotional toll on her.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a really rough rough time,\u201d she remembered. \u201cAnd then I left Beverly Hills and I moved to Sherman Oaks, and I left in such a rush that my mom actually had to find my apartment for me and \u2026 I [didn\u2019t see it] until I moved in. So I moved, and then I moved into this apartment that she picked.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDanielle Fishel does it all, from hosting a podcast to acting and dancing \u2014 but when it comes to cleaning, she\u2019s found a genius way to share the load. \u201cMy least favorite thing to do, cleaning wise, is putting away laundry,\u201d Fishel, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting her partnership with Lysol to refresh [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She added, \u201cThat year was not a fun year, not a year I like revisiting at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her cohosts Rider Strong<\/strong><\/a> and Will Friedle<\/strong><\/a> asked whether Fishel faced any pressure from her agent to get back to work.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot that I remember,\u201d she clarified. \u201cI know, for sure, I had said, \u2018I don\u2019t want anything. I don\u2019t want to audition for anything. I\u2019m just done for a little bit.\u2019 And I don\u2019t remember there being a lot of pushback.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fishel pointed out this upheaval in her personal and professional life occurred at the same time as she switched from having \u201ca kid\u2019s agent\u201d to going out for older parts.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me to say, like, \u2018I\u2019m in a holding pattern. I\u2019m not sure what I\u2019m going to do,\u2019 we just kind of put that on hold,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd then I did eventually sign with the Young Talent department at Innovative, which was run by Abby Bluestone<\/strong>, who is still there and she\u2019s amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n
