Ahsoka<\/em> season 2 officially has a premiere date and its first teaser!<\/p>\n

Disney and LucasFilm debuted the footage from the second season during the D23 Disney Entertainment Showcase<\/strong><\/em> on Friday night (August 14) in Anaheim, Calif. alongside stars Rosario Dawson<\/strong><\/a>, Hayden Christensen<\/strong><\/a>, and Eman Esfandi<\/strong> and creator Dave Filoni<\/strong>. Season 2 will premiere on January 20, 2027<\/strong> exclusively on Disney+. <\/p>\n

The season 2 teaser features Hayden<\/strong>‘s return as Anakin Skywalker with some footage showing him training Ariana Greenblatt<\/strong><\/a>‘s younger Ahsoka and later communicating with Rosario<\/strong>‘s adult version of the character. <\/p>\n

Lars Mikkelsen<\/strong><\/a> is also back as Grand Admiral Thrawn along with Eman<\/strong>‘s Ezra Bridger. There are also some glimpses of Natasha Liu Bordizzo<\/strong>‘s Sabine Wren.<\/p>\n

Rory McCann’s first Baylan footage<\/h3>\n

The teaser also shares the first footage of Rory McCann<\/strong> as Baylan Skoll<\/a>. Rory<\/strong>‘s casting was announced back in January 2025. He is taking over the role from the late Ray Stevenson<\/strong><\/a>, who sadly passed away in May 2023. The teaser is the first we’re seeing of him in the part.<\/p>\n

Ray<\/strong> originated the character for season 1, but died before the show debuted.<\/p>\n

When will Ahsoka<\/em> season 2 premiere?<\/h3>\n

The second season premieres on January 20, 2027 on Disney+, arriving approximately four years after season 1. The confirmed returning cast members include Rosario Dawson<\/strong>, Hayden Christensen<\/strong>, Eman Esfandi<\/strong>, Lars Mikkelsen<\/strong>, Ariana Greenblatt<\/strong>, Natasha Liu Bordizzo<\/strong>, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The cast of X-Men was also revealed at D23<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Season 1 is currently streaming on Disney+. <\/p>\n
