Courtney Love<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about a terrifying health battle that nearly killed her.<\/p>\n

In a new Instagram<\/a> video uploaded on Friday (August 14), the 62-year-old rocker revealed said her body “just exploded” while in the UK back in 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went to England in 2019 and when I went there, you know, my body just exploded,\u201d Courtney<\/strong> recalled. \u201cIt just exploded. And I was in hospitals a lot. I almost died, I lost all my hair. I was about 100 pounds. And they told me I was gonna die, and I didn\u2019t believe them.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Courtney <\/strong>didn’t specify what medical condition she battled, she did attribute her reluctance to listen to her doctors to an attitude she’s had since childhood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to like, pattern-interrupt the adults, and they\u2019d tell me \u2018red.\u2019 They\u2019d say \u2018red was blue,\u2019 and then I\u2019d see blue, but blue was blue,\u201d Courtney<\/strong> said. \u201cSo now that I gaslight myself that maybe, maybe they were right and red was blue, and then I would see purple, and my head would explode.<\/p>\n

“Like f\u2014king cope with that sh\u2014t, right?” she continued. “I think some of you can relate to that. And then, anyway, I never really lost my ability to see that f\u2014king that \u2018red was red,\u2019 despite them telling me that \u2018red was blue.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so when they said you\u2019re gonna die, I just didn\u2019t believe them,” she added.<\/p>\n

The Hole<\/strong> frontwoman went on to say that she “somehow” got better.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m healthy, which is amazing,\u201d Courtney <\/strong>said, later insisting, \u201cI will be back, I wasn\u2019t public about being sick. I don\u2019t want to be public about being sick. You know, I\u2019m fine now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in 2022, Courtney<\/strong> claimed that Brad Pitt<\/strong> had her fired<\/a> from Fight Club<\/em>.<\/p>\n
