Courtney Love’s terrifying health scare: ‘My body just exploded’<\/p>\n
The 62-year-old musician shared the terrifying health update in a new Instagram video as she explained to fans why her latest album has been delayed and revealed that seven years ago, doctors told her she was \u201cdoing to die\u201d.<\/p>\n
She shared in the video: \u201cA lot of you asking on my record is at. It\u2019s done. It\u2019s kind of been done. It\u2019s a really good record. I put a lot into it. I went to England in 2019, and when I went there, you know, my body just exploded. It just exploded, and I was in hospitals a lot. I almost died. I lost all my hair. I was about 100 pounds, and they told me I was going to die, and I didn\u2019t believe them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Courtney went on to say that she never believed her doctors and somehow convinced herself to get better.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cWhen I was a kid – I think this record is about this – I used to like, pattern-interrupt the adults, and they\u2019d tell me \u2018red.\u2019 They\u2019d say \u2018red was blue,\u2019 and then I\u2019d see blue, but blue was blue. \u201cSo now that I gaslight myself that maybe, maybe they were right and red was blue, and then I would see purple, and my head would explode. Like f****** cope with that s***, right? I think some of you can relate to that. And then, anyway, I never really lost my ability to see that f****** that \u2018red was red,\u2019 despite them telling me that \u2018red was blue.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n \u201cAnd so when they said you\u2019re gonna die, I just didn\u2019t believe them. And somehow I got better. I\u2019m healthy, which is amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nCourtney added that she \u201cwasn\u2019t public about being sick\u201d at the time and while she is \u201cfine now\u201d, she did not go into detail what caused her health woes.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn the video caption, Courtney shared that she made a lot of her latest record while she was in and out of hospital and she can\u2019t wait to get on the road and tour the album for her fans.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote: \u201cI wanted to give you an update on my record . When I made , it I believed this was my last record so I made the record I always wanted to make. I was in the hospital mostly but when I wasn\u2019t all I did was write record it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI want to tour more than anything. I want to sing . That\u2019s what keeps my soul body happy .<\/p>\n
