It also featured <a href=\"\/tags\/milo-manheim\/\" class=\"celebrity-tag-link\"><strong class=\"celebrity-tag-strong\">Milo Manheim<\/strong><\/a> in costume as <a href=\"\/tags\/flynn-rider\/\" class=\"celebrity-tag-link\"><strong class=\"celebrity-tag-strong\">Flynn Rider<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"\/tags\/kathryn-hahn\/\" class=\"celebrity-tag-link\"><strong class=\"celebrity-tag-strong\">Kathryn Hahn<\/strong><\/a> as Mother Gothel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kathryn <\/strong>appeared at the event to present the movie and discuss taking on the iconic Disney villain.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-medium_large caption_belowImage credit_onImage\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/tangled-d23-02.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"788\" height=\"528\" src=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/tangled-d23-02-788x528.jpg\" alt=\"Kathryn Hahn at D23 for Tangled live-action\" class=\"wp-image-2265547\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><span class=\"credit\">Credit: Getty<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I love Mother Gothel, I love playing her, she&#8217;s the best kind of villain,&#8221; she told the audience, adding that the character believes she is actually the hero of the story, per <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/tangled-first-look-photos-rapunzel-costume-release-date-announced-12058785\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Teagan <\/strong>and <strong>Milo <\/strong>were unable to attend the presentation because they are currently filming in Spain.
