Taylor Frankie Paul<\/a> <\/b>remains hopeful that her season of The Bachelorette<\/i><\/a> will eventually be released.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou guys started a petition for the show. I love you all,\u201d Taylor, 32, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, August 13, alongside a link to the Change.org<\/span><\/a> motion advocating for ABC to release the footage. \u201cI signed and left the link [above].\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharing a screenshot of the petition on a follow-up slide, Taylor added three crying emojis.<\/p>\n

Taylor was named the season 22 lead of The Bachelorette <\/i>in fall 2025. While her season was scheduled to air in March, ABC ultimately pulled it from their spring lineup days before the premiere.<\/p>\n

The decision was made after a 2023 video of Taylor throwing chairs at ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen<\/b> in front of her daughter was leaked amid the pair\u2019s then-open domestic violence investigation. Taylor, who pleaded guilty to assault in 2023 and was remanded to probation, is a mother of three. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/i> star shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6, with ex-husband Tate Paul, as well as son Ever, 2, with Dakota, 33.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette<\/i> at this time,\u201d a Disney Entertainment spokesperson told Us<\/i> in a statement at the time. \u201cOur focus is on supporting the family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor subsequently addressed the situation<\/a>, remaining grateful for ABC\u2019s support.<\/p>\n
