Jenna Ortega<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s sister weighed in after fans began to express concerns about the actress\u2019 weight loss.<\/p>\n

After a recent Esquire<\/em> interview went viral, a social media user shared a lengthy message defending Ortega<\/a>, 23, and reminding others to \u201cmind [their] business.\u201d The actress\u2019 sister Aliyah Ortega<\/strong> subtly showed her support for the person\u2019s opinion, adding three exclamation points in the comments section.<\/p>\n

The social media post further claimed that fans online have been making \u201cassumptions about [Jenna\u2019s] health.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe has every right to make whatever decisions she feels are best for herself without being judged, discriminated against or subjected to unnecessary speculation,\u201d the caption continued. \u201cSometimes the most respectful thing we can do is simply give someone privacy, support them, and let them be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lizzo has been vocal about trying to help people accept all body sizes. \u201cI want to normalize my body. And not just be like, \u2018Ooh, look at this cool [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The post also noted: \u201cWe don\u2019t know what she may be going through, and we shouldn\u2019t assume anything based on appearances or a few comments from an interview. Stop concerning yourselves with her personal life and asking intrusive, unnecessary, and random questions. \u2026 Just leave Jenna alone and allow her to live her life on her own terms.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her interview with Esquire<\/em>, published Tuesday, August, 11, Jenna recalled the challenges<\/a> of being on set as a child actor.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really had it going for me as a child because I can\u2019t think of one mistake I made. Is that a terrible thing to say?\u201d she said. \u201cI feel like I make mistakes now all the time, but as a child, I was so grateful and so excited to be there that my game face was on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenna explained how that affected her health, adding, \u201cI wasn\u2019t asking for a sip of water. I would go all day without eating, drinking, whatever, because I wanted so badly to not be in the way of anybody. Maybe that was my mistake [of] not actually looking after myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Photos and video accompanying the profile also showed off Jenna\u2019s thin physique.<\/p>\n
